On 15 and 16 June 2015 we visited the German capital with a “My Europe” Workshop. 50 students of Walther-Rathenau-Schule and Ernst-Litfaß-Schule discussed big data with Udo Hoffmann (Vice President Germany, UTC Building & Industrial Systems), Prof. Dr. Astrid Nelke (CEO, [know:bodies] Gesellschaft für integrierte Kommunikation und Bildungsberatung mbH) and Dr. Tabea Scheel (Psychologist, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin). In the evening they attended a panel discussion at Messe Berlin, where Wolfgang Clement, Dr. Julia Borggräfe, Alexander Würfel and Robert Aubell discussed their experiences and ideas on digitalisation with Silke Mülherr (Die Welt).
On the second workshop day, editor-in-chief Dr. Marius Schneider welcomed the participants at the Axel Springer Verlag. A tour of the news room as well as discussions with Ulf Poschardt and a social media editor took place, and Annette Prosinger and Silke Mülherr prepared the students for the writing contest.

A big thank you goes to our partners Otis, Messe Berlin and Die Welt.
