Following the invitation of the Mayor of Vilnius, students and teachers of Vilnius Žirmūnai Gymnasium, Vilnius Mykolas Biržiška Gymnasium and Vilnius Vytautas Magnus Gymnasium gathered on 19 November 2014 for the “My Europe” Award Ceremony. After the workshop in March they had written articles on Europe in 2030 and now received their prizes and certificates of participation.
A jury of Vilnius City Municipality, AB LitGrid, Lietuvos zinios and “My Europe” had selected the five winners: 1. Vytautas Žarskus with his article ”Europe and the World: united We are stronger”, 2. Rokas Stasilius (“My Europ – Our home”), 3. Silvija Kalinauskaitė (E.U. – Europe. Unite.), 4. Gediminas Godas (”A Melting Pot – Why Not?“) and 5. Matas Grunkis (“How I imagine Europe in 2030”). All five teenagers were awarded with a trip to the next Get2Gather in Madrid and received an ipad or kindle paperwhite.
