Mugur Isărescu, Governor of the National Bank of Romania and “My Europe” patron in his country, announced the three winners of the Romanian “My Europe” writing contest on 28 February 2012. A jury of representatives of the National Bank, OMV Petrom, media partners Libertatea and Romania libera as well as ICCA and the Frankfurter Zukunftsrat had decided to award the first prize (internship with Romania libera) to Bogdan-Alexandru Dimitriu for his article “Doubting Europe – Stoicism in face of crisis”. Elena Draghici and Anathea Cora Cristea won second and third prize: an internship at Libertatea and an eBook reader by OMV Petrom.

At the award ceremony, the governor underlined the importance of having visions for Europe.
